Dear Mr. Crawford:
In reply to your letter which arrived yesterday, I am pleased to inform you that I can reserve accommodation for you at the American School of Oriental Research in Jerusalem from the second week of September till mid-October.
I would appreciate hearing from you on what day you plan to reach Jerusalem as sometimes there is considerable pressure on our limited accommodation. I gather from you letter that you expect to arrived about September 8 or 9.
